Q. Hey everyone it’s ya boy Darren Southern Plug Brown, here with a mega Southern Plug Exclusive. Introducing to some,La La tha Model. So, tell our readers that may not be familiar with you or your work just who you are and what it is that you do exactly.

A.Big shoutout Darren and Southern Plug Magazine for the opportunity to be apart of this interview. My name is LaTonya aka "La La tha Model". I have neen modeling for over 9 plus years including numerous fashion shows, photoshoots, and more.  I also have done acting as well being in few stage plays and music videos recently.

Q. So, what inspired you to start your journey as in your perspective field?

A.What inspired me to start my journey was the repetitiveness in life of working and taking care of a family. Now, don't get me wrong, I enjoy doing these things, but there's still more to life and what can i do to enjoy more of it.

Q. How and when did you coin your stage name LaLa and how do you feel that title fits you?

A.So my stage name, or what I like to call my alter ego "La La" came about after I graduated from John Casablancas Modeling Agency 2017. It was an abbreviation of my initials at one point. The title fits me because the name is playful like my personality and yet can be a bit of a mystery.

Q. Do you have any upcoming projects or announcements to make?

A. I have been nominated for Female Model / Video Vixen of the Year by Southern Plug Magazine to be announced in the upcoming months. Also, I have a few fashion shows and some upcoming projects at the current moment I cannot disclose all information for, however I will be providing details later.

Q. What would you say is the quote on quote secret recipe for your success?

A.The secret recipe for my success is experience, passion, and dedication. Without having these things what is your purpose in what you do if its not something you enjoy or love doing. Anyone can say they are a model and take pretty pictures. But it takes a real model that has dedicated time to learn and perfect there own individuality as well as the investment of money to aid in perfection and knowledge needed to be successful.

Q. What was your favorite part about modelinga

A.My favorite part of what I do is being different and showing the world its ok if you are. Being an example of strength and determination to live no matter the circumstances that life may bring. There is always someone watching that is hanging onto hope for another day and that symbolism of strength helps them through.

Q. Name a time where you've faced adversity in your career? And, what impact did it have on you or your career?

A.In 2022 i had a major life change which caused me to have to take a little less than two years away from modeling and acting. At that moment I shutdown to the entertainment world and went dark on social media to focus on me and my family. The impact was just a pause and not a breakdown. Coming back out and showing everyone the new me i was welcomed with open arms and lots of luv shown but on a different level.

Q. Is there something in specific that you want people to know about you or your art?

A.My uniqueness of personality and character i will give that classy, professional, grown and sexy type vibe. Whether on the runway or behind the camera i will continue to be an example to female/male, young/old that in life you can do what you want as long as you put in the work.

Q. Okay, so its no secert you are a very attractive person. Our men readers would like to know, are you boo'd up or what? If so spilt the tea. Who's  the lucky guy?

A.At the current moment I am "Single" and there is no lucky man at the moment that has spoken for my heart. However, based off my last relationship I want to take a different approach to the next individual that I dedicate my heart too, because when I love I love hard. So cheers to the future on this one!!

Q. How do you juggle your personal life and professional life?

A. My professional life honestly at the moment provides that flexibility to be able to make time for my personal life and what i want. Prioritizing and multitasking is one of my strong attributes of a woman that allows me to be able to balance all at the same time. Sometimes in life you have to determine is it worth the time to risk it all and "Do" or to learn how to say "No".

Q.  What advice would you give those wanting to start their journey in your field?

A. Make sure first and foremost you understand what you want and your purpose of what you are wanting to do. Competition is very tough in the industry as everyone is trying to make it, but it doesn't mean you cant create your own path and signature for why you stand out more differently than the rest.

Q. Who would you say is your biggest inspiration and why?

A. My biggest inspiration is myself, i know this may come off differently but hear me out. Throughout my life of heartache, disappointment, and pain i have chosen not to give up and to continue to keep pursing even when it may feel as if the ones around me have. To be an example of strength and continuation of determination speaks differently and loudly without mumbling a word.

Q. Ok we do this every interview! What creatives would you absolutely die to work with?

A. I would love to work with at least once in my life Taraji P. Henson. I absolutely love her different variations of personality, style, and acting skills when it comes to ghe big screen.

Q. Tell our readers how they can book you and connect with you on the world wide web and on the socials.

A. You can definitely find me on Facebook @LaTonya Minter; Instagram & TikTok @beautifulylala29; email is latonyaandrews5@gmail.com.
